1.Important Notes (Vernalization Treatment)

Tulip bulbs require cold treatment (vernalization) before planting.

• Store the bulbs in the lower compartment of a refrigerator at approximately 15°C.
• Cold treatment should last at least 2–3 weeks.
• The temperature must not exceed 15°C.
• Higher temperatures may result in incomplete vernalization, leading to bud abortion or failure to bloom.
• Once vernalization is complete, the bulbs are ready for planting.

2. Planting Guidelines

• When planting, ensure the tip of the new sprout is exposed by 1–2 cm above the soil surface.
• Use prepared peat-based potting soil or well-drained garden soil.
• For pots sized 4.5–5 inches, plant 2 bulbs per pot.
• For garden beds, maintain a spacing of approximately 20 cm × 25 cm between plants.
• Cover the bulbs with 3–5 cm of soil.
